Role Overview
Location: North West, South Africa
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Sales Representative with a strong background in the mining and industrial sector. This role is responsible for driving business development, strengthening client relationships, and supporting technical sales growth across the region. The successful candidate will focus on solution-based selling, market expansion, and maintaining strong relationships within mining operations, consultants, and EPCMs.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Growth
- Drive sales through solution-based selling approaches
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the mining and industrial sector
- Expand market presence and contribute to sustainable sales growth
- Contribute to sales strategies, budgeting, and performance tracking
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across mining operations, consultants, and EPCMs
- Maintain regular engagement with clients to understand operational requirements and provide suitable solutions
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional communication and service delivery
Technical Sales & Commercial Support
- Deliver technical presentations and proposals to clients
- Promote products and services aligned with client operational requirements
- Support solution development and value-driven sales initiatives within mining and industrial environments
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Minimum Requirements
Education
- Post-matric qualification advantageous
Additional Training and Experience
- Extensive technical sales experience within mining and/or minerals processing environments
- Good understanding of mining operations and industrial environments
- Computer literacy and experience with standard business software
