Accountant

A well-established company based in Durban is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join their finance team. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate with completed articles and solid accounting experience who is looking to grow within a professional and dynamic environment.

• Preparation and review of monthly management accounts
• Processing and reviewing accounting transactions
• Bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
• Preparation of financial statements
• VAT calculations and submissions
• Assisting with budgeting and cash flow management
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance
• Liaising with auditors and assisting during audits
• Working on CaseWare and Pastel for financial reporting and accounting functions

• Completed Accounting Degree or relevant finance qualification

• Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles or post-article accounting experience
• Strong working knowledge of CaseWare and Pastel
• Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines .
