The ideal candidate will bring experience in financial reporting, compliance, and managing day-to-day accounting functions, while demonstrating a proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. • Oversee and review monthly processing of accounts and reconciliations
• Prepare and review financial statements in line with relevant standards
• Manage and review VAT & tax returns, including detailed VAT reviews and compliance
• Oversee and manage accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Conduct financial analysis, support strategic decision-making, and review quoting and invoicing processes

• BCom Accounting degree or similar
• Strong accounting experience within accounting firms is highly advantageous
• Completed articles
• Proficient with accounting software
• Based in Cape Town
