Pavement Engineer

ConsultANZ is looking for a Pavement Engineer to join a leading civil construction company working on one of Australia’s largest infrastructure programs in Queensland. The role involves planning, designing, and delivering road and pavement projects across regional areas.

• Design and manage pavement and surfacing works (asphalt, chip seal, and road construction).

• Provide technical input on pavement materials, specifications, and performance.

• Oversee construction quality and compliance with engineering standards.

• Support project teams with pavement engineering advice.

• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules.

• Prepare reports and documentation for senior management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

• 8+ years of experience in pavement engineering or road construction.

• Strong knowledge of asphalt, chip seal, and pavement design.

• Experience working on large civil infrastructure projects.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to live and work in regional area.
