Site Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

MALELANE ENGEN is looking for a motivated and experienced Site Manager to oversee operations at our fuel station and convenience store. This is a leadership role requiring strong management skills, operational oversight, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Staff management: Lead, supervise, and motivate employees to achieve performance targets.
• Operational oversight: Manage daily site activities, ensuring compliance with Engen franchise standards.
• Customer service: Maintain a welcoming environment and resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Inventory control: Oversee stock management, ordering, and accurate stock takes.
• Financial management: Monitor budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability.
• Health & Safety compliance: Ensure adherence to Food Health and Safety standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• Matric certificate (Grade 12) required.
• Relevant tertiary qualification preferred.
• Proven experience in retail management or site operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Must be a South African citizen, fluent in English and Afrikaans.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Certificate in Food Health and Safety will be an advantage.
• Commitment to Engen franchise standards.
