Senior Engineer

Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape. You will be responsible for leading engineering services and project activities to ensure safe, reliable and cost-effective operational performance and asset optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate engineering services, maintenance and project activities to ensure optimal equipment and plant performance.
• Lead contractor management, infrastructure maintenance and asset management activities within the area of responsibility.
• Ensure compliance with SHERQ standards, legal requirements and engineering best practices.
• Manage operational and project budgets, cost control and resource allocation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational reliability and efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership, problem-solving and engineering support to operational teams.
• Monitor engineering performance, identify risks and implement corrective actions where required.
• Build and maintain effective stakeholder and customer relationships across operations and support functions.
• Drive operational excellence through effective leadership, maintenance systems and engineering standards.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• GCC Mines and Works
• 8 years' experience as a GCC Engineer (POST GCC) with minimum 3 years' experience in a senior role
• Registered with ECSA
• 2-3 years' project experience
• Valid Driver's License
