Junior Logistics and Systems Coordinator

Our client, a manufacturing company based in Paarl is looking for a Junior Logistics Systems Coordinator to join their team.

Are you a sharp, technically-minded individual with a passion for logistics and data? We are looking for a dynamic junior professional who can not only manage the day-to-day flow of transport but also serve as the bridge between our operational needs and IT development.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Coordinating transport, issuing loading instructions, and the accurate preparation of delivery notes.
Performing regular stock reconciliations to ensure alignment between physical stock and the system.
Actively communicating with the IT team to provide input for the development of new operating software. You will assist in testing and ensuring that new systems are practically viable on the floor.
Extracting and processing raw data from the system to create actionable reports and analyses for management.

REQUIREMENTS

Matric and Tertiary qualification in Transport / Logistics
1–3 years of experience in a logistics or operational environment will be beneficial, but not a deal breaker.
You must be "system-savvy." Proficiency in MS Excel is non-negotiable.
The ability to translate operational challenges into "IT language" so that software solutions can be built effectively.
You enjoy working with data and possess the ability to quickly spot errors in reconciliations.
Highly organized with the ability to adapt quickly to new technology.
Strong communication skills (to navigate between the warehouse and IT developers).
A logical approach to problem-solving.
