Role Overview

We are looking for a driven, confident, and results-oriented Sales Consultant to grow our presence in the George and Garden Route region.

This role combines outbound sales with in-showroom sales. The successful candidate must be a true go-getter with a strong personality, capable of proactively driving outbound sales, building relationships, and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets across fireplaces, fire pits, outdoor furniture and outdoor kitchens.
  • Proactively generate new leads and drive outbound sales activity.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell across the Hydrofire & Helios product range.
  • Prepare and present professional quotations, proposals, and solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and confidently close deals.

Business Outbound Sales

  • Actively prospect and develop new business within the George and Garden Route region.
  • Hospitality groups
  • Builders
  • Developers
  • Designers
  • Architects
  • Attend Design Expos
  • Conduct regular client visits, site meetings, and product presentations.
  • Attend networking events and industry functions to grow brand presence.
  • Identify market opportunities and monitor competitor activity.

Showroom Sales (Inbound Sales)

  • Deliver a premium, consultative sales experience to walk-in clients.
  • Confidently present and demonstrate products, communicating value and quality.
  • Manage the full sales process from enquiry through to final delivery.
  • Support showroom merchandising, promotions, and events.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with retail and trade clients.
  • Ensure consistent follow-ups and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Position yourself as a trusted advisor on product solutions.

Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, client interactions, and sales pipeline.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and performance updates.
  • Ensure all quotations, orders, and invoices are processed accurately.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments where required.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years’ experience in sales (showroom, retail, or business development).
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in premium, lifestyle, or design-related products (advantageous).
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport (essential).
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office (CIN7 advantageous).

Salary & Incentives

  • Base Salary: R15,000 per month
  • Commission: Commission Based on % of Sales. Additional Quarterly Target Incentive
  • Fuel Allowance – for Business and Private use
  • Medical Aid contribution
  • Earning Potential: R30,000+ per month (based on performance)
