Dermal Aesthetician

The Skincare Therapist is responsible for delivering exceptional advanced skincare treatments while building lasting patient relationships. This hands-on clinical role requires strong technical skills, a passion for skin health, and confidence in retail and rebooking.

You'll work alongside our doctors and front-of-house team to ensure every patient receives outstanding care and results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Clinical Treatments

● Perform advanced skincare treatments including chemical peels, microneedling

(Dermapen), IPL, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, LED light therapy, and luxury

facials

● Conduct thorough skin consultations and develop personalised treatment plans

● Maintain accurate treatment records and patient notes

● Ensure treatment rooms are prepared, hygienic, and stocked

● Adhere to safety protocols and clinical standards at all times

Patient Care & Retention

● Build strong patient relationships that encourage loyalty and rebooking

● Provide clear pre- and post-treatment aftercare advice

● Follow up with patients to monitor progress and satisfaction

● Handle concerns professionally and escalate to doctors when needed

Retail & Business Development

● Confidently recommend and retail skincare products suited to patient needs

● Assist with online consultations and Skin Spot sales when required

● Support clinic promotions and treatment package campaigns

● Contribute to social media content when comfortable (training provided)

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Skincare diploma: ITEC, CIDESCO, CIBTAC, or SAAHSP
• 2–5 years' experience as a skincare therapist or aesthetician
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle
• Must reside in the Northern Suburbs
• Treatment Experience Required: Chemical peels; Microneedling (Dermapen or similar); IPL treatments; Advanced facials; Dermaplaning; Microdermabrasion; LED light therapy

HOURS

• Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:30
• One Saturday per month: 09:00 – 17:00
