Sales Attendant

SA Walling is a precast concrete manufacturing company that supplies, delivers and installs precast products in the Gauteng region.

The Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business, maintaining customer relationships, conducting site visits, preparing quotations, and achieving monthly sales targets for precast walling, concrete palisade fencing, and related products. The role focuses on residential, commercial, industrial, and government-sector customers within the assigned sales territory.

• Proven customer service and basic sales skills, with the ability to build rapport and respond to customer needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including clear, professional telephone and in-person interaction.
• Basic numeracy and computer literacy, including using email, spreadsheets, and simple point-of-sale or invoicing systems.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple customer requests, quotations, and follow-ups efficiently.
• Willingness to learn product specifications, installation basics, and industry terminology to advise customers accurately.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Benoni, including standing for extended periods and handling light physical tasks related to samples or displays.
• Previous experience in construction, building materials, hardware, or a similar retail or trade environment is an advantage.
• Matric/secondary school completion or equivalent; additional training in sales or customer service is beneficial.
