Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Copywriter to join our digital marketing agency. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing clear, engaging, and persuasive copy for a variety of digital platforms, including websites, social media, email campaigns, blogs, paid ads, landing pages, and client marketing materials.

The ideal candidate must be able to understand different brands, adapt tone of voice, write for specific target audiences, and create copy that supports marketing goals such as brand awareness, engagement, lead generation, and conversions.

## Key Responsibilities

Write compelling copy for websites, landing pages, blogs, social media posts, email campaigns, newsletters, Google Ads, Meta ads, and other digital marketing content.

Develop creative concepts, headlines, taglines, campaign messaging, and calls to action.

Adapt writing style and tone for different clients, industries, audiences, and platforms.

Work closely with designers, social media managers, account managers, SEO specialists, and marketing strategists to deliver integrated campaigns.

Research client industries, competitors, target audiences, products, and services to create relevant and accurate content.

Apply basic SEO principles, including keyword usage, meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, and search-friendly content structure.

Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, grammar, spelling, consistency, and brand alignment.

Interpret creative briefs and turn marketing objectives into strong copy ideas.

Assist with content calendars, campaign planning, and content strategy where required.

Review performance insights where available and improve copy based on engagement, clicks, conversions, or SEO performance.

Meet deadlines and manage multiple client projects at the same time.

## Minimum Requirements

Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.

1–3 years of copywriting experience, preferably in a digital marketing agency, advertising agency, marketing department, or freelance environment.

A strong portfolio of writing samples, including digital copy, social media content, blogs, ads, or campaign work.

Excellent command of English, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and proofreading.

Good understanding of digital marketing platforms and how copy differs across websites, social media, email, and paid advertising.

Basic knowledge of SEO and content marketing.

Ability to write persuasive, clear, and audience-focused copy.

Strong research skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Willingness to receive feedback and revise copy when required.

## Preferred Skills

Experience writing for multiple brands or industries.

Experience with WordPress or other content management systems.

Knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and email marketing platforms.

Understanding of conversion copywriting, A/B testing, and user experience copy.

Basic Canva or design awareness would be an advantage.

Familiarity with tools such as Google Docs, Microsoft Office, Grammarly, ChatGPT, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Trello, Asana, or Monday.com.
