SAICA Trainee Accountant

Our client, a reputable and well-established audit and accounting firm based in Pretoria, is seeking ambitious and driven SAICA Trainee Accountants to join their training programme. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about a career in auditing and accounting, and who are looking to complete their SAICA articles within a structured, supportive, and high-performance environment.

• Assist with external audit engagements from planning through to completion.
• Perform audit fieldwork, including testing of controls and substantive procedures.
• Prepare working papers in line with ISA standards.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Engage with clients and assist in resolving audit-related queries.

• Completed or currently completing a SAICA-accredited degree (BCom Accounting or equivalent).
• Honours degree or CTA (or currently enrolled) will be advantageous.
• Strong academic record with a commitment to the SAICA training route.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport (advantageous).
• Based in or willing to relocate to Pretoria.
