Software Engineer: Java Back - End

We're looking for a Java Back-End Software Engineer to help us build, scale, and support high-performing systems that serve real users and real business needs.

What You'll Be Building:

• You'll be creating the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps our platforms running smoothly:
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable back-end services
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and event-driven solutions
• Develop cloud-native applications running on AWS and Kubernetes
• Contribute to microservices, domain-driven, and event-driven architectures

\uD83C\uDFAF The Essentials

• Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate / NCV)
• 6+ years of back-end software development experience
• Proven experience building and supporting production-grade systems
• Strong Java and Spring Boot expertise
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Cloud platform experience (AWS is a bonus!)
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures
• Exposure to Docker, containers, and Kubernetes

Nice to Have

• Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar
