This is not a remote working position and standard working hours from the office in Woodmead, Sandton will apply.

The Position: We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a semi-skilled and service driven Returns Clerk to join the team. The role will play a crucial part in inspecting and reconciling quantities returned with that of the returns forms and documents. Ensuring customer satisfaction through handling product returns and exchanges. Maintaining and managing a database of all product returns and exchanges. Adhering to and complying with corporate standards and procedures in handling returns.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving and inspecting returns: Meeting drivers and inspecting returned items and paperwork
  • Processing returns: Processing and coding returns, and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Verifying quantities: Reconciling the quantities returned with the returns forms and documents
  • Updating records: Updating inventory records and customer accounts
  • Processing refunds: Processing refunds, exchanges, credits, or repairs
  • Training new employees: Training new employees on company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Inventory control: Performing inventory control using computerized tools, physical counts, and cycle counts
  • Recordkeeping: Completing daily logs for recordkeeping

Requirements

  • Completed Matric
  • 2+ years experience within a Manufacturing environment
  • Strong customer interaction skills
  • Must have a good understanding of written and verbal communication
  • Must be able to work independently and be responsible enough to work without supervision
  • Must be a Self-Starter with a highly organized mind
  • Ability to work in a self-driven, complex environment with multiple and changing priorities
  • Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables

The Package: We’re looking for a talented Returns Clerk to be office based in Woodmead, Sandton. The pay range on offer is R5 000.00 to R7 000.00 (Negotiable) Package Per Month.
