Draughting Technician

Sarah Watermeyer Design is a small, established interior design studio based in

Johannesburg, with thirty years of experience creating considered, characterful interiors. We

are a close-knit team, and we are looking for a skilled draughting technician to join us on a

part-time basis to help carry additional workload as projects come in.

This is an interior design draughting role: not architectural draughting.

The role

Working closely with our team, you will produce accurate, detailed technical drawings across

the full range of our interior design work. Your responsibilities will include:

– Interior layouts and spatial plans

– Joinery and cabinetry detailing

– Tiling layouts

– Bathroom elevations and layouts

– Technical drawings for all other interior design elements

What we are looking for

– Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD

– Your own laptop and hardware, with the relevant software installed and licensed

– Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and independently

– Availability to start immediately

Working arrangement

This is a part-time, flexible role that can largely be done remotely. However, you will need to

be available to meet and work with the team in person in Parkhurst when required, for

project briefs and collaboration.
