Position: Medical Practice Optimization Consultant

Report to: General Manager and Sales Manager

Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Medical, Sales or Marketing

Experience: Minimum 4 years’ experience in the following:

• Sales experience within the medical industry, in particular to specialist doctors with a successful sales track record of achieving targets

• Preferably sales experience in the medical bureau or practice management software industry

• Main function is to generate new business

• The position calls for high-volume in-person cold calling at doctors rooms, hospitals, clinics and labs

• Some telephonic cold calling

• Great networking skills

• Strong lead generating networking skills

• Presentations to prospective clients

• Prepare proposals and quotes

• Handle all leads and continuous follow-ups

• Account management

• O365 experience & good excel skills

• CRM experience

• Excellent customer service

• Great prospecting skills

• Excellent closer

• Experience setting up and manning exhibits/congresses/symposiums

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

• Conduct high-volume in person cold calling daily.

• Secure face-to-face meetings

• Overcome objections and gatekeepers professionally

• Assess potential clients’ needs and suitability

• Establish rapport quickly

• Create a positive first impression of the company

• Track leads, follow-ups and appointment outcomes

• Conduct consistent follow-ups via calls, email and messaging

• Re-engage cold or unresponsive prospects

• Nurture leads until meetings are secured

• Stay informed about industry trends and competitors

• Provide feedback on lead quality and messaging effectiveness

• Meet or exceed monthly targets

• Refine cold calling scripts and techniques

• Learn from feedback and call outcomes

• Participate in training and coaching sessions

• Build enduring relationships and display an understanding of the Healthcare industry, business environment and strategy to identify current and future opportunities.

• Have intimate knowledge of Synchramed brand, products it’s values and positioning in the marketplace and effectively articulate how we can add value through our services and solutions.

• Attending pre-determined CPD events/conferences/symposiums and represent the company in order to secure face-to-face meetings with potential clients

• Source new hospital CPD events and conferences which we can sponsor to market Synchramed products and services.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

• Relevant Degree or Diploma preferably in Medical, Sales or Marketing

• Previous proven successful sales experience in the Healthcare industry (minimum of 5 years).

• Be prepared to travel.

• Good experience analysing commercial and financial information.

• Strong presentation and negotiation skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships.

• The ability to self-organise.

• The ability to create and recognize opportunities.

• Innovative thinker and problem solver.

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills.

• Strong attention to detail, planning, and accuracy.

• Competent in Office365

Package

R25 000 to R38 000 p.m. basic salary (depending on experience)

Sales Area

Primarily Gauteng - with country trips to North-West, Limpopo and Mpumalanga
