Location: Luanda, Angola | Language Requirement: Fluent Portuguese (essential) We are looking for a South African profession willing to relocate to Luanda, Angola. An exciting opportunity to join a leading international group with operations across Africa An established multinational organisation headquartered in Europe, with a significant footprint across Africa, is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Regional Controlling Manager to be based in Luanda, Angola. This role is ideally suited to a South African finance professional with a strong work ethic and a passion for partnering with the business. We are looking for a well-rounded individual who is comfortable operating at both a strategic and operational level and who thrives in a dynamic, project-driven environment. Duties: Lead project controlling activities across multiple operations. Partner with business leaders to support commercial decision-making. Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes. Monitor overhead costs and implement effective cost-control measures. Prepare and present meaningful management reporting and performance analysis. Support group reporting requirements and ensure financial accuracy. Identify risks, opportunities and initiatives to improve profitability. Provide financial insights that support operational excellence and business growth. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Accounting, or a related field. CTA, or Honours degree will be advantageous CA(SA), CIMA, CGMA Experience: 8 - 10 years proven experience within FP&A, commercial finance or controlling environments. Strong exposure to: Project controlling, Business partnering, Budgeting and forecasting and Cost and overhead management. Ability to operate as a commercially focused finance business partner. Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills. Fluency in Portuguese is essential. Experience within infrastructure, engineering, construction, telecommunications, energy or other project-based industries will be advantageous. Skills & Competencies: Strong FP&A, project controlling, budgeting and forecasting capabilities. Experience in cost control, management reporting and business partnering. Sound understanding of IFRS and advanced Excel and ERP systems proficiency. Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate across a multinational environment. Results-driven, adaptable and able to navigate complexity. High levels of accountability, integrity and professionalism. Fluent in Portuguese, with strong English communication skills.
