POSITION INFO

A rapidly growing organization within the FMCG and retail sector, based in Centurion, is seeking a Finance & Operations Manager to bridge the gap between finance, operations, stock, and customer delivery. As the business scales, there is a clear need for someone who can bring structure, insight, and innovation into an environment where many processes are still manual, creating a unique opportunity to build, improve, and modernize how the business operates. You'll be equally comfortable analysing sales data in Excel as you are walking the warehouse floor, understanding operations firsthand and translating that into meaningful financial insight. Key Responsibilities: Manage the Order‑to‑Purchase (O2P) process end‑to‑end Support clients and manage customer relationships Oversee stock, inventory, and warehouse controls Analyze sales performance and business trends Produce meaningful reports and operational insights Support warehouse quality control and compliance processes Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies Assist with automation projects and system enhancements Translate financial and operational data into actionable recommendations Partner with operational teams to improve performance and profitability Job Experience and Skills Required: BCom Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field Minimum 3+ years' experience in a Finance & Operations / Commercial Finance / Operations Analyst role Experience within FMCG, retail, wholesale, distribution, or supply chain environments Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical and reporting capability Experience with process improvement and systems implementation Exposure to automation, AI tools, or digital transformation initiatives advantageous Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills Comfortable working at both strategic and operational levels If you're looking for a role where finance leaves the desk and becomes part of the operation, this could be your next move.
