POSITION INFO

A well-established and highly respected building contractor is seeking an experienced Site Agent to take responsibility for the successful delivery of prestigious high-rise residential developments along Cape Town's sought-after Atlantic Seaboard. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional with a proven track record in managing complex, multi-storey building projects to the highest standards of quality, safety and programme. Key Responsibilities: Full site management and coordination of high-rise residential construction projects. Managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers. Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to required quality standards. Monitoring construction programmes and resolving site-related challenges. Managing health and safety compliance and ensuring adherence to all regulations. Liaising with clients, consultants, architects and professional teams. Controlling materials, plant, labour and project costs. Preparing progress reports and attending site meetings. Minimum Requirements: National Diploma or Degree in Building, Construction Management or a related qualification. Minimum of 8-10 years' experience in the construction industry. Proven experience as a Site Agent on large multi-level residential developments is essential. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, quality standards and contractual requirements. Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage demanding programmes within a high-pressure environment.
