SUMMARY

We are seeking a commercially astute, financially disciplined leader to establish and grow the Commercial arm of the company into a profitable, independent entity.

POSITION INFO

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the construction/glass & aluminium industry, with proven ability to drive revenue growth, manage risk, operational excellence and maintain cashflow discipline. The successful candidate will act with full ownership, building the Commercial brand into a credible, independent and sustainable market player. Requirements: Strong understanding of the construction, glass & aluminium industry Commercial contract knowledge Financial literacy - profit, cashflow, working capital Proven ability in pricing, margin management and risk assessment Strategic thinker with practical execution skills Excellent communication, negotiation and reporting abilities Strong drive to achieve targets and grow the business High accountability and ownership mentality Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute commercial strategy Build client relationships and drive tendering, pricing, and conversion Manage sales pipeline and forecasting Set pricing strategy aligned with margin targets Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting Ensure profitability and disciplined cashflow management Approve projects within defined authority limits Conduct financial, contractural and cashflow risk assessments Escalate high-risk projects to the Board Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards Alicgn sales, design, manufacturing and installation teams Drive continuous improvement in execution capability Build and develop management and operational teams Define roles, responsibilities and performance expectations Implement performance management and incentive structures Report regularly to the Board on performance, risks and strategy Ensure compliance with governance frameworks and BBBEE requirements If you are a strong Technical Sales/Business Manager who can lead and grow, then this opportunity is your future.
