Employer Description My client assists businesses to source and procure products and equipment that is required for their day-to-day operations. Job Description The Technical Sales Representative serves as a key point of contact between the organisation and client. The successful incumbent will be selling safety equipment, electrical & mechanical equipment as well as consumables like adhesives and lubricants into Mining, Manufacturing, Construction and Engineering sectors. Identify, develop and pursue new business opportunities Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients Ensure excellent customer service and professional client engagement Understand client requirements and recommend suitable products and services Update and maintain CRM systems with accurate sales information Prepare sales reports, pipeline updates and activity reports Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities Qualifications Grade 12 Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or related fields 5 Years experience servicing the Mining, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Steel or Industrial industries selling various Industrial and Chemical types of products and services. Skills Strong Sales, negotiation and business development capabilities Technically Astute CRM Systems and sales reporting tools Proposal and quotation preparation Benefits Commission Petrol Allowance (Will be discussed further)
