Employer Description My client assists businesses to source and procure products and equipment that is required for their day-to-day operations. Job Description The Senior Technical Sales Rep is responsible for driving strategic business development, strengthening client relationships and leading sales growth within the company. Sales and Business Development Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities to support growth Implement strategic sales plans to increase revenue and market presence Client Relationship Management Ensure professional and consistent engagement with clients at all levels Understand client's needs and provide suitable business solutions Administrative and Reporting Responsibilities Maintain and update CRM Systems with accurate client and sales information Prepare detailed sales reports, pipeline forecasts and performance updates Leadership and Team Support Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales team members when required Support management with onboarding and coaching of new sales staff Market and Industry Awareness Stayed informed on industry developments, market conditions and competitor activities Represent the company professionally at client meetings, networking functions and industry events Qualifications Grade 12 Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or related fields 5-10 Years sales experience servicing the Mining, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Steel or Industrial industries selling various types of products and services. Skills Strong Sales, negotiation and business development capabilities CRM Systems and pipeline management tools Proposal, quotation, presentation and tender preparation Benefits Commission Petrol Allowance (Will be discussed further)
