Introduction
Picup, a leading last-mile delivery and technology-driven logistics company, is seeking an experienced Inland Operations Manager to lead and optimise our inland operations. This role is responsible for overseeing driver and fleet performance, route planning, operational efficiency, service delivery, and customer experience across a fast-paced logistics environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence, maintaining service level agreements, managing escalations, and driving continuous improvement within our growing last-mile delivery network.
- Manage daily inland operations and service delivery.
- Lead and manage drivers, fleet performance, and operational teams.
- Oversee route planning and route optimisation.
- Ensure SLA and KPI targets are achieved.
- Monitor operational performance and resolve escalations.
- Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage customer service and stakeholder relationships.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.
- Prepare and analyse operational performance reports.
Minimum requirements
- 5 years' experience in logistics, courier, transport, or last-mile operations.
- Proven experience managing drivers and fleet operations.
- Strong route planning and route optimisation experience.
- Experience managing operational teams and performance.
- Strong understanding of SLA and KPI management.
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Relevant qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport, or a related field advantageous.
