SAP CRM Developer - Principal

We are looking for a skilled SAP CRM Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analysing business requirements, identifying configuration and programming needs, and performing SAP programming within the SAP CRM module. You will also conduct testing and debugging to ensure the successful implementation and enhancement of SAP functionalities.

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical SAP CRM solutions
• Design, develop, and enhance SAP CRM applications and custom functionality using ABAP Object-Oriented programming
• Develop reports, interfaces, enhancements, output management solutions, and technical components aligned with business requirements
• Support SAP CRM implementation, enhancement, and integration activities
• Perform testing, debugging, and issue resolution for SAP CRM developments and enhancements
• Ensure adherence to development standards, architecture principles, and best practices
• Support technical documentation and knowledge transfer activities

Core Skills

• Analysing business requirements and identifying configuration, programming, reporting, interface, output file, security, and role requirements
• Performing SAP programming using ABAP Object-Oriented methodologies within SAP CRM environments
• Developing and supporting SAP CRM enhancements and custom developments
• Testing and debugging functions related to the implementation and enhancement of SAP CRM modules and solutions
• Supporting software architecture and technical design activities for SAP CRM solutions

Qualifications Required

• Developer-specific SAP Certification
• Proof of Developer-specific SAP Certification must be provided upon submission of CV

Experience Required

• 8–10 years SAP Development experience
• Experience in software architecture, design, and development
• Strong SAP technical development experience within SAP CRM environments

Mandatory Requirements

• 10+ years SAP Development experience
• Experience in software architecture and design
• Developer-specific SAP Certification

Other Requirements

• EPIC knowledge and experience would be beneficial
• Local Government experience would be beneficial
• It is strongly recommended that the candidate resides in Cape Town
• Knowledge of EPIC and SAP CRM is highly recommended
