Sales Consultant

Our client in the alternative energy sector is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join their team based in Somerset West. This role is ideally suited to a technically minded sales professional with experience in renewable energy products who enjoys building relationships, providing solutions, and supporting customers in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting customers and installers, preparing quotations, processing orders, providing product advice, and assisting the external sales and technical teams. The role requires the ability to deliver exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• Matric essential
• Previous internal sales experience
• Experience within the renewable energy, electrical, solar, or power solutions industry advantageous
• Knowledge of products such as inverters, batteries, solar components, and related energy products would be highly beneficial
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Ability to prepare quotations and process orders accurately
• Computer literate with good administrative skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
• Open to travelling in South Africa and Southern Africa
