Call Centre Sales agents - Short Term Car Insurance & Tracker

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Call Centre Sales Agent to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling vehicle insurance and tracking solutions on behalf of a leading and trusted brand. • Contact prospective customers to promote and sell vehicle insurance and tracking products.
• Generate new business through outbound sales activities and lead follow-ups.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable insurance and tracking solutions.
• Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Explain product features, benefits, pricing, and policy terms clearly and accurately.
• Handle customer objections professionally and effectively to close sales.
• Generate quotations and assist customers through the application and sales process.
• Maintain accurate customer records and update information on the CRM system.
• Follow up on leads and sales opportunities to maximize conversion rates.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with prospective customers.
• Cross-sell and upsell relevant insurance and vehicle tracking products where appropriate.
• Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and submitted timeously.
• Attend product, compliance, and sales training sessions as required.
• Collaborate with team members and management to achieve departmental objectives.
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity reports as required.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, product knowledge, and customer service throughout the sales process.

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate
• Minimum 6 months –1 year experience in an outbound call centre sales environment.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, vehicle tracking, or telecommunications sales will be advantageous.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Strong objection-handling and relationship-building abilities.
• Computer literacy and experience working with CRM systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Professional telephone etiquette and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English; additional South African languages will be advantageous.

Preferred Requirements

• RE5 qualification will be advantageous.
• FAIS-compliant experience in short-term insurance sales will be advantageous.
• Experience selling vehicle insurance, tracking products, or related services.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance requirements.
