Sage Intacct Implementation Consultant

We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Sage Intacct Consultant to manage the full customer journey from pre-sales engagement through implementation, training, and go-live support.
The successful candidate will be responsible for solution scoping, business process analysis, system configuration, project execution, user training, and post go-live support to ensure successful Sage Intacct deployments.
This role requires strong accounting knowledge, ERP consulting experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple client implementations simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pre-Sales & Solution Consulting
- Engage with prospective clients to understand business requirements and operational challenges.
- Conduct discovery workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
- Analyse financial and operational processes to recommend Sage Intacct solutions.
- Prepare solution demonstrations tailored to client requirements.
- Assist with proposal preparation, scope documentation, timelines, and effort estimations.
- Collaborate with sales teams to support presentations, RFQs, and tender responses.
- Provide guidance on best practice ERP processes and digital transformation opportunities.
2. Project Scoping & Solution Design
- Define implementation scope, deliverables, milestones, and project plans.
- Document functional requirements and business process workflows.
- Identify integration requirements and third-party system dependencies.
- Develop solution design documentation and implementation strategies.
- Assess risks, gaps, and change management requirements.
- Ensure alignment between client expectations and project deliverables.
3. Implementation & Execution
- Configure Sage Intacct modules according to business requirements.
- Perform data migration planning, mapping, and validation.
- Execute system testing, UAT support, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate project activities and communicate progress with stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Support integrations and customisation requirements where applicable.
- Maintain implementation documentation and project records.
4. Go-Live Support
- Lead go-live planning and readiness assessments.
- Provide hands-on support during cutover and transition phases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve post go-live issues efficiently.
- Monitor system adoption and operational stability.
- Ensure successful handover to support teams where applicable.
- Conduct post implementation reviews and optimisation recommendations.
5. User Training & Client Enablement
- Develop and deliver Sage Intacct user training sessions.
- Train finance teams, administrators, and operational users.
- Ensure clients are confident and self-sufficient in system usage.
- Provide best practice recommendations for ongoing system utilisation.
Advantageous Skills

- Sage Intacct certification
- Minimum 3–5 years ERP consulting or Sage Intacct implementation experience.

- Experience in ERP solution scoping and business analysis.
- Proven project implementation experience.
- Strong presentation and client engagement skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel if required.
