Role Purpose

Provide talent sourcing and recruitment services in order to support the business’ current and future talent requirements that will empower the business to achieve its objectives.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Industrial and Organizational Psychology
  • 3 years recruitment experience in the Insurance or Financial Services environments

Duties & Responsibilities Responsibilities and work outputs

  • Provide guidance and consult with business stakeholders and the Human Capital (HC) team to plan, forecast and determine short, medium, and long-term recruitment and talent pool requirements.
  • Plan the sourcing, selection, and screening approach to best meet identified business requirements.
  • Proactively build and maintain an internal and external talent database/pool of suitable active and passive applicants through advanced search capabilities.
  • Set up, leverage, and maintain diverse talent sourcing channels including social media, professional networking sites, search engines, databases, and associations to attract high-caliber talent.
  • Successfully source critical, high-value, and scarce-skilled candidates who fit the organizational culture.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance of the candidate database to ensure data integrity.
  • Coordinate the advertisement of roles through various channels in line with business requirements and relevant standards.
  • Provide external talent search and headhunting capabilities to the business.
  • Screen and shortlist candidates, conduct first-stage screening interviews, and facilitate interviews between suitable candidates and business stakeholders.
  • Manage consistent recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes that support the employer brand and create a positive candidate experience.
  • Guide and advise business stakeholders to effectively influence the hiring process, ensuring the selection of top talent and supporting the achievement of Employment Equity targets.
  • Regularly provide feedback to stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
  • Accurately maintain and update recruitment documentation, and compile/submit recruitment scorecards, monthly reports, and related metrics as required.
  • Make recommendations to continuously enhance and improve talent management practices and processes.
