Bookkeeper

We are looking for a detail oriented Bookkeeper. The Bookkeeper is responsible for performing day-to-day transactional accounting activities to support accurate financial records across multiple entities operating in the cloud computing industry.

This role focuses on timely data entry, maintaining organized financial documentation, and supporting the accounting team with routine tasks that contribute to the month-end close process.

Being detail oriented, organized and deadline focused are essential skills in addition to bookkeeping knowledge and Quickbooks Online experience will be an advantage.

Key Job duties may include but not limited to:

• Enter and maintain accurate daily financial transactions, including vendor bills, expense receipts, credit card transactions, and customer payments

• Support the Accounts Payable function by preparing invoices for processing, verifying coding accuracy, and ensuring required documentation is attached

• Assist with Accounts Receivable tasks such as recording deposits, updating customer accounts, and following up on missing remittances when required.

• Ensure vendor and customer records are kept current, including contact details, payment information, and required tax forms

• Maintain orderly electronic filing systems for invoices, contracts, receipts, payment confirmations, and other financial documents

• Reconcile bank transactions, credit card statements, employee expense submissions, and balances on a recurring basis

• Support month-end close activities by preparing routine schedules, exporting system reports, and ensuring all transactional data is up to date.

• Communicate with internal team members to obtain missing information, clarify coding, or support processing needs

• Provide general administrative accounting support to the Accountant, Senior Accountant, and Controller as assigned

Salary: R15,000 to $30,000 GROSS per month
