Accountant

Macrotec | Ballito, KZN | R300k to R500k CTC

Macrotec is a South African designer and manufacturer of high-temperature industrial equipment, selling into Africa, the Middle East, and island markets. We need an Accountant to manage our finance function from end to end, reporting to the Managing Director.

What you will do

You will own the full accounting cycle: processing transactions, running month-end close, preparing reconciliations (bank, debtors, creditors, VAT), managing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with SARS and statutory requirements. You will also prepare management reports and support budgeting and forecasting.

This is a role with real ownership. You will be the finance lead in a company where your work has direct visibility and impact.

What we are looking for

• BCom Accounting, SAIPA, or equivalent qualification
• Solid grounding in financial accounting and reporting
• Experience with an ERP or accounting system (we use D365 Business Central)
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage deadlines independently
• Strong communication skills; you will interact directly with the MD and external advisors
