Management Accountant

Macrotec designs and manufactures thermal process equipment for industrial clients across Africa and the Middle East. We are hiring a Management Accountant to take ownership of our finance function, reporting directly to the MD.

What you will do

You will prepare monthly management packs, build budgets and forecasts, analyse variances, and provide the financial insight that drives business decisions. You will also manage day-to-day accounting operations: month-end close, reconciliations, VAT, and coordination with external accountants and auditors.

You will be the person the MD turns to for a clear picture of where the business stands financially, what is working, and where attention is needed.

What we are looking for

• CIMA (CGMA), CMA, or BCom in Management Accounting or related qualification
• Experience preparing management reports and financial analysis
• Familiarity with an ERP system (we use D365 Business Central)
• Ability to translate numbers into business insight
• Comfortable working independently in a small, fast-paced team
