MHE Operator

The purpose of this role is to ensure the safe and efficient movement of pallets within the Distribution Centre, and to ensure that all stock is accurately placed in designated put-away locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and reach truck safely and efficiently
• Move pallets to correct storage and picking locations
• Ensure accurate stock placement according to system instructions
• Support warehouse operations and maintain productivity standards
• Assist with stock handling using RF scanning devices
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and operational procedures

Experience Required

Essential

• ±3 years’ experience operating a forklift and reach truck
• Experience working in a warehouse or DC environment
• Experience working as part of a team

Preferred

• Experience using RF scanners within a Warehouse Management System (WMS)

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Valid Forklift Licence
• Valid Reach Truck Licence (where applicable)
