A specialist provider of industrial automation and control solutions is looking for an ambitious Sales Engineer to grow business across the Western Cape. This role is ideal for an intermediate-level sales professional who has a technical background and enjoys working with engineers, plant managers, and industrial clients to solve operational and automation challenges. Non-Negotiable Requirements Proven experience in technical sales within automation, control, or industrial environments Relevant technical qualification (Diploma, Degree, BTech, or similar) Strong business development and relationship-building skills Valid driver's license and willingness to travel Ability to engage confidently with technical decision-makers Job Experience & Skills Required Develop and grow business within the Western Cape region Identify and pursue new sales opportunities Manage and expand existing customer relationships Conduct site visits, technical presentations, and solution-based sales discussions Prepare quotations, proposals, and follow up on opportunities Work closely with technical teams to deliver customer-focused solutions Exposure to industrial automation, PLCs, drives, instrumentation, process control, or control systems will be highly advantageous.
