Commercial Manager

ConsultANZ is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join a leading civil infrastructure contractor in Wellington. This senior leadership role will be responsible for managing commercial performance, contracts, procurement, and risk across major infrastructure projects.

• Lead all commercial and financial aspects of the project.
• Manage monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance.
• Oversee project cost forecasting and cost code management.
• Administer and manage contractual obligations under a complex alliance agreement.
• Manage legal, insurance, and commercial risk matters across the project.
• Work closely with key alliance partners and stakeholders to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
• Drive commercial governance, reporting, and performance management.
• Lead and mentor a team of approximately 8–10 professionals

• Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in senior commercial leadership roles within civil infrastructure.
• Experience working in alliance or joint venture environments.
• Strong contract, procurement, and commercial risk management experience.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.

• Competitive salary of $250K–$270K base, negotiable depending on experience.
