Curro seeks to appoint Yes Candidate:Primary School Assistant (part-time) at Curro Protea Glen in Soweto to commence duties in August 2026

Key performance areas

• Assist the teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson preparation.
• Supervise and support learners during class, playtime and meal breaks.
• Help learners with educational activities, personal care and classroom routines.
• Prepare and organise teaching materials and classroom resources.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised learning environment.
• Monitor learner behaviour and report any concerns to the teacher.
• Assist with attendance records, classroom administration and school events.

Qualifications, experience and skills

• South African youth between 18 and 34 years old.

• Must be previously unemployed.

• Qualification in BED Intermediate Qualification

• Living close to the Curro school you’re applying for.

  Afrikaans ability would be beneficial

• Passion for working with children, patient, and committed to growth.

• Please note: This is a stipend-based opportunity (not a salary).
