Chep PALLET CONTROLLER

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

• Manage and control pallet inventory and movements.
• Ensure accurate pallet stock reconciliation and record keeping.
• Coordinate pallet procurement and customer exchanges.
• Investigate and resolve pallet discrepancies and customer queries.
• Maintain pallet-related administration and reporting.
• Support dispatch operations and ensure continuity of supply chain activities.
• Liaise with customers, transporters, and service providers to ensure efficient pallet management.

Qualifications, Experience And Personal Qualities/Skills

• Matric plus a tertiary qualification will be an added advantage.
• A minimum 3 years in an accounting environment
• A good communicator with a strong, confident and assertive personality, able to influence relevant processes at all levels and persuade others to make contributions.
• To be approachable and have the ability to inspire and motivate others well.
• Assertive, excellent planning and time management skills.
• Passion and drive for safety and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Computer literacy
• A practical hands on approach with the ability to analyse, problem solve and take corrective action
• Be Safety focussed and promote positive safety culture
