POSITION INFO

Job Description: Produce accurate reinforced concrete rebar layouts and reinforcement schedules Develop detailed 2D and 3D reinforcement models using Revit, AutoCAD, and specialized rebar detailing software Generate precise material take-offs and reinforcing steel quantity calculations Review and verify reinforcement schedules and layouts to ensure accuracy, compliance, and constructability Collaborate closely with structural engineers, designers, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle Manage multiple project deliverables while maintaining high standards of quality and meeting project deadlines Ensure compliance with quality management systems, project procedures, and industry standards Skills & Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in rebar detailing or structural draughting Proven proficiency in Probar and Padds scheduling software Strong working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD Familiarity with SANS 282 rebar scheduling requirements Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management principles Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Qualification: Grade 12 / Matric (essential) Relevant qualification, training, or certification in Draughting, Structural Detailing Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport will be beneficial Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered Connect with us on and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our Engineering recruitment vacancies.
