Claims Assessor - Retirement/Pension Claims Processing

The Admin role at Zensar Technologies is integral to the smooth functioning of our department. You will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, primarily focused on retirement, pension, and provident fund management. Your expertise will be crucial in handling claims, renewals, and new business processes, as well as investment and risk product administration. Additionally, you will play a key role in customer onboarding and policy anniversary administration, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Administrate Retirement, Pension, and Provident Funds, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely processing of contributions and withdrawals.
- Handle Claims and Renewals, including Death, Funeral, and Disability Claims, following established procedures and guidelines.
- Manage New Business Processes, ensuring all necessary documentation is in order and meeting client expectations.
- Administer Investment Portfolios, monitoring performance and making recommendations as needed.
- Oversee Risk Product Administration, particularly for Death and Funeral Benefits, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Perform Accounting Administration, including maintaining financial records and preparing reports.
- Onboard Customers, providing excellent service and ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Administer Policy Anniversaries, sending out reminders and managing renewals.
- Collaborate with the team to improve administrative processes and enhance efficiency.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive client information.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in the financial or insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of retirement, pension, and provident fund administration.
- Proficiency in handling claims, particularly death and funeral claims, with a deep understanding of the process and payment procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new processes and systems.
- A positive and collaborative attitude, with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
