SCRUM MASTER – 6-MONTH CONTRACT (RENEWABLE)

Fairlands, Johannesburg (Hybrid – 2 Days in Office per Week)

Maximum Rate: R400 per Hour

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join their Agile delivery team on an initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of renewal based on performance. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Scrum Master who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about driving Agile excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement.
  • Remove impediments and help teams maintain delivery momentum.
  • Foster collaboration between Product Owners, Development Teams, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor sprint progress and report on delivery metrics.
  • Support the successful delivery of projects within agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile, and Lean methodologies.
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) advantageous.
  • Financial Services, Technology, or Enterprise project experience beneficial.

Contract Details

  • Initial 6-month contract.
  • Renewable based on performance and project requirements.
  • Hybrid working model (2 days per week in the Fairlands office).
  • Maximum rate: R400 per hour.
  • Candidates must be available to start immediately or on short notice.
