Our client is seeking an experienced and professional Occupational Health Sister to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting employee health and wellness initiatives, occupational health administration, and ensuring compliance with occupational health standards and procedures within a fast-paced operational environment.
This role requires a candidate with strong administrative abilities, excellent communication skills, and experience working within an FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
Occupational Health Administration & Employee Support
- Attend to employee occupational health-related queries and provide support where required.
- Maintain and update employee medical and occupational health records accurately.
- Perform data capturing and ensure information is maintained accurately and confidentially.
- Prepare and maintain required occupational health documentation and reports.
- Submit relevant documentation and reports to the relevant departments where required.
- Ensure all employee records are updated and maintained according to company procedures.
Employee Wellness & Compliance
- Assist with employee wellness initiatives and occupational health activities.
- Coordinate internal and outsourced health-related training and awareness programmes.
- Support occupational health compliance requirements and record keeping.
- Submit IOD (Injury on Duty) claims and maintain supporting documentation.
- Conduct daily observations and report findings where applicable.
- Assist with investigations and reporting relating to employee incidents and injuries.
General Responsibilities
- Prioritise and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and occupational health procedures.
- Support departmental initiatives and projects as required.
Minimum Requirements
- Registered Occupational Health Nursing qualification.
- Registration with SANC.
- Previous Occupational Health experience is essential.
- Previous FMCG industry experience is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Strong administration and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
