Job Position: Qualified Automotive Technicians

Location: PE/Gqeberha

Salary: R17 800 to R30 000 per month commensurate with qualification and experience, 50% medical aid and provident fund contribution and incentive

R25 000 to R35 000 per month for qualified Diagnostic or Master Technician (depending on experience post qualification)

• Grade 12 qualification/equivalent

• Qualified trade tested Motor Technician (MERSETA/similar)

• Fully completed Motor Trade Apprenticeship (MERSETA)

• Clean criminal record

• Valid SA drivers license and own reliable transport

• Verbal and written communication skills in English

• Computer literate

• Willing to work overtime if required

• Understanding of electronic fault finding

• Ensure the preparation, servicing and repairs of all vehicles within the workshop are done according to standard

• Comply to and implement the correct safety procedures when executing a specific task or job

• Provide a diagnostic service for workshop vehicles (e.g steering, brakes, transmission, drive train, fuel systems, electronic components etc)

• Make use of modern diagnostic equipment to maximise effective vehicle service and to implement findings

• Diagnose faults

• Ensure all work on job cards are completed to specification and recorded accurately

• Discuss and explain service details with customers as and when required

• Provide technical and/or non-technical assistance to the workshop staff
