We have a Homeware Sales Consultant position available at our upmarket showroom in Parkhurst, JHB.

The main purpose of the position is to promote and sell retail products to customers according to procedures and the branding standards and guidelines.

The main functions of the job include:

  • Building productive relationships with customers
  • Sales
  • Maintaining retail showroom standards
  • Managing orders of additional products for the showroom
  • Supporting the sales consultants
  • Supporting payment process

Please note that this position is of a physical nature due to the handling of heavy rugs.

Minimum requirements:

  • Grade 12 qualification
  • At least 3 years sales experience in a retail environment with experience working on point of sale
  • Experience in conducting and managing regular stock takes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer service orientated
  • Sales driven
  • Self-motivated
  • General business acumen
  • Knowledge of homeware advantageous
