An established infrastructure and project delivery environment is seeking a registered Professional Architect (PrArch) to take on a leadership role in managing and delivering multiple construction and infrastructure projects in Cape Town.

The successful candidate will oversee full project lifecycles including planning, budgeting, contract administration, stakeholder coordination, and project delivery in line with governance and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver multiple infrastructure and construction projects
  • Ensure adherence to project programmes, budgets, and cashflow targets
  • Monitor project progress and ensure milestone achievement
  • Manage consultant and contractor appointments and performance
  • Administer JBCC and NEC contracts
  • Review invoices, fee claims, appointments, and project documentation
  • Ensure compliance with governance frameworks and project protocols
  • Maintain accurate project reporting and records
  • Support audit readiness and compliance requirements
  • Manage stakeholder engagement across multidisciplinary teams

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

  • Degree in Architecture
  • Registered Professional Architect (PrArch) with SACAP
  • Project Management qualification (advantageous)

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years post-registration experience
  • Strong exposure to construction / built environment projects
  • Experience with JBCC & NEC contracts
  • Project financial administration experience
  • Exposure to programme/project management environments advantageous
