A reputable and well-established automotive workshop in Killarney Gardens is currently seeking a qualified Motor Mechanic to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic assessments, maintenance, and repairs on petrol and diesel vehicles.
Conduct minor and major vehicle services.
Repair and replace engine, clutch, brake, suspension, steering, and drivetrain components.
Use diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot faults.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within allocated timeframes.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Communicate effectively with management regarding vehicle faults and required repairs.
Adhere to workshop health and safety procedures.

Requirements

Qualified Motor Mechanic with a Red Seal Trade Certificate (non-negotiable).
Minimum 3–5 years' post-qualification experience.
Experience working on various vehicle make and models.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and quality-focused.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
