A well-established organisation within the manufacturing and engineering sector is seeking an experienced SYSPRO Application Specialist (Finance) to take ownership of its ERP financial systems environment. This role is ideal for a technically strong finance systems professional who enjoys optimising processes, driving system improvements, and partnering with business users to maximise ERP performance.

POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities 🔹 Provide day-to-day support and optimisation of SYSPRO financial modules, including GL, AP, AR, Cash Book and Fixed Assets. 🔹 Configure and enhance ERP functionality to improve financial processes, reporting, and data integrity. 🔹 Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards using SYSPRO reporting tools and SQL. 🔹 Support month-end and year-end processes and ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting requirements. 🔹 Participate in ERP upgrades, implementations, system integrations, and data migration projects. 🔹 Train and support finance users while serving as the subject matter expert for SYSPRO finance-related queries. Requirements ✔ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field. ✔ 3-5+ years' experience working with SYSPRO ERP, particularly within financial modules. ✔ Strong understanding of accounting principles and finance processes. ✔ Experience with SQL and report writing tools would be advantageous. ✔ Previous ERP implementation or support experience. ✔ Exposure to manufacturing or distribution environments using SYSPRO. ✔ Experience with system integrations and business intelligence tools is advantageous. ✔ Knowledge of financial controls, reporting requirements, and local regulatory environments.
