SUMMARY

We are recruiting a skilled professional, trade tested Toolmaker to join a leading automotive manufacturing environment in Rosslyn.

POSITION INFO

Toolmaker - Rosslyn, Pretoria Minimum Requirements: Trade Tested Toolmaker 3 to 5 years experience in an Automotive or Manufacturing environment Strong Press Tooling experience Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Knowledge of material heat treatment and tool design principles Experience with CNC machining, light milling machines, and grinders CAD/CAM experience Proficient in precision measurements using metrology equipment (Micrometers, Verniers, CMM) Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills Key Responsibilities: Manufacture, maintain, repair, and modify press tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges Diagnose tooling failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime Operate CNC and conventional toolroom machinery Perform precision inspections and measurements Support production and engineering teams with tooling improvements Assist with new tool development and commissioning Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
