SUMMARY

A well-established company based in Stellenbosch is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented

National Lease and Contracts Officer to manage and administer lease agreements, contracts and related documentation across a national property portfolio.

POSITION INFO

Minimum Requirements Diploma or Degree in Economics, Property Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, Legal Studies, Commerce or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years' experience in lease administration, contracts management, property administration or a similar role. Strong understanding of lease agreements, contract administration and compliance requirements. Experience managing multiple leases and contracts within a large portfolio. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel . Experience with property management or lease administration systems will be advantageous. Excellent organizational, analytical and administrative skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines effectively. Valid driver's license. Key Responsibilities Manage and administer lease agreements across a national portfolio . Monitor lease expiries, renewals, terminations and rental escalations. Draft, review and process lease-related documentation and contracts. Ensure compliance with lease terms, company policies and legal requirements. Maintain accurate lease and contract databases and filing systems. Liaise with landlords, tenants, legal representatives and internal stakeholders. Coordinate contract approvals, amendments and renewals. Track critical contract dates and ensure timely action on all obligations. Assist with budgeting by monitoring rental commitments and lease costs. Prepare reports on lease performance, contract status and portfolio metrics. Support dispute resolution and contractual issue management when required. Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate and audit ready.
