We are looking for a Senior Stock Controller who understands exactly that.

This opening is for a professional who sees beyond stock counts and understands inventory as a strategic business asset.

A growing multi-site hospitality and food service group is seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Senior Stock Controller to take ownership of inventory management, stock optimisation, procurement coordination, reporting, and operational stock controls across multiple locations.

This is not an administration role.

We are looking for a stock professional who can analyse trends, identify risks, reduce wastage, improve stock accuracy, and implement controls that drive operational excellence.

POSITION INFO

You will be responsible for ensuring inventory integrity across multiple sites while supporting operational teams with stock planning, forecasting, reporting, procurement coordination, and cost control initiatives. The successful candidate will be a critical link among operations, finance, suppliers, and store management, ensuring stock is available when required while maintaining strict stock-holding targets and minimising losses. Key Responsibilities Manage inventory levels across multiple stores and operational sites Monitor stock movements, variances, wastage, and shrinkage Conduct stock audits, cycle counts, and inventory investigations Analyse stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions Manage supplier ordering processes and stock replenishment activities Produce detailed stock, cost, variance, and inventory reports Maintain accurate stock records and inventory valuations Support forecasting, planning, and inventory optimisation initiatives Coordinate stock transfers between stores and operational sites Drive compliance with stock management procedures and controls Train and support operational teams on inventory best practices Identify opportunities to improve stock accuracy, efficiency, and profitability Minimum Requirements Minimum 5 years' experience within: Stock Control Inventory Management Procurement Administration Supply Chain Administration At least 2 years' experience in a Senior Stock Controller or Supervisory capacity Strong exposure to: Hospitality Groups Restaurant Chains Coffee Shop Groups FMCG Retail Operations High-volume inventory environments Technical Requirements Advanced Microsoft Excel Pivot Tables VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP Data Analysis Reporting Inventory Management Systems GAAP Point of Sale (Highly Advantageous) Google Workspace Experience with: Sage Pastel Pilot Power BI (Advantageous) What We're Looking For You are likely: Highly analytical and data-driven Detail-oriented and process-focused Confident in investigating stock variances and operational issues Comfortable working across multiple sites and stakeholders Commercially aware and operationally minded Proactive, accountable, and solutions-driven Able to perform under pressure while maintaining exceptional accuracy Why Join?
