SUMMARY

• The project consists of a new-build G+19-storey luxury hotel development incorporating complex reinforced concrete structures, advanced MEP systems, post-tensioned slab construction/similar methodologies, vertical transport systems and high-end hospitality finishes aligned to international hotel brand standards.

POSITION INFO

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take full responsibility for end-to-end project execution of the luxury hotel development.
• Lead all site construction activities in line with programme, budget, quality and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary construction teams, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
• Drive programme execution to ensure milestone achievement and timely project delivery.
• Manage structural, civil, architectural and MEP integration throughout all construction phases.
• Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes, particularly relating to high-end hospitality standards and finishes.
• Monitor construction methodologies including post-tensioning activities, concrete works, curing schedules and vertical construction sequencing.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, engineering specifications and statutory regulations.
• Manage procurement coordination and long-lead construction items.
• Produce and present detailed progress reports, project forecasts and risk assessments to executive management.
• Maintain strict commercial control over budgets, claims, variations and cost management processes.
• Implement and enforce international HSE best practices across site operations.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging and final handover activities. INHERENT REQUIREMENTS
• Proven experience as Project Manager on 4-or-5-star high-rise hotel construction projects is essential.
• Strong exposure to luxury/high-end hospitality finishes and fit outs.
• Previous expatriate experience within Africa is highly advantageous.
• Exposure to post-tensioned concrete structures or similar high-rise construction methodologies is strongly preferred.
• Experience coordinating complex MEP, HVAC and specialist subcontractor packages.
• B. Degree OR National Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Sciences or related discipline.
• Project Management qualification advantageous.
• Working knowledge of CCS, BuildSmart or similar construction/project management software.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid passport with expiry beyond 2028.
• Clear criminal record.
• Available for mobilisation by mid- to end-June 2026.
