POSITION INFO

Main purpose of the job: Operate the Tubula. Pasteuriser according to procedure and assist with management of operational event on this equipment. Minimum Requirements: Matric, Maths and Science or N3 plus National Certificate In Food and Beverage Packaging Operations Induction and inhouse combined with Team Leader Training. Full competence within this role would typically be developed over a period of 1 to 2 years from Matric level 6 months - 1 years from Diploma level in food processing Knowledge: Knowledge of food processing methods and technology Pasteurisation systems. Product knowledge and specification, raw materials specification, packaging material product and quality specification. Tubular pasteurisation Operating Procedures. Skills: Introductory Computer skills Problem solving skills Mathematical skills Operate the process, Prepare and startup equipment Conduct changeovers and first line maintenance Follow cleaning and CIP procedures, and shutting down of equipment Basic technical skills Basic mechanical skills
